The following local businesses have kindly offered discounts to JSC current members provided they have their membership card with them. Time to get some great deals with the JSC!!

All Discounts listed are STRICTLY for Jersey Surf board club members only and applicable on presentation of an active club membership card and only in the name of the person making a purchase.


The bike shop in the back precinct at Les Quennevais is giving all us JSC members 10% discount off all repairs and accessories. Get those bikes ready for summer! Andy you're the man thank you. Bicycle Workshop is hoping to stock bike surfboard racks soon!

A big shout out to Ian at The Old School Cafe, St. Ouens Parish Community Centre. We held Academy Registration there this year and he and his lovely team put up with the hundreds of people who swarmed his cafe. He has offered all JSC members 10 percent off all food and drink. George and his lovely team have offered all members of the JSC 10% off everything down at their base at Le Braye, including clothes, boards and lessons.Anyone wishing to get qualified this summer, George has also kindly offered a £25 discount off fees for ISA instructor level 1 and level 2 as well as SLS GB beach lifeguard award. These qualifications enable you to work at any international surf school and importantly, for our club, they allow you to help with our community project; JSC Mourant Ozanne Surf Academy. Great addition to any CV and UCAS statements! JSC Team riders- a must for you guys. Have to be 16 years or older to attend any course.

JSC AGM 2018

"Notice to Members of the Jersey Surfboard Club:

AGM to be held at 7pm4th May 2017 at the Watersplash

Amongst other items, at the AGM the members vote to elect the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and at least two other Committee members.

Dave Ferguson, our current Chairman, has decided not to stand for re-election to enable him to concentrate on his role as President of the CISF. The JSC Committee want to extend their thanks and gratitude to Dave for his huge contribution to the running of the JSC.

As a result,  we will be looking to vote in a new Chairman at the AGM and would like to invite nominations for this role.

At the AGM, Members will also be voting in the Secretary, Treasurer plus at least two other Committee members and JSC Members are welcome to put forward nominations for these Committee positions.

In order for nominations to be valid, the Secretary will need one Member to propose the nominee and at least one other Member to second the nomination.

Please can JSC Members email all nominations to Neel Sahai (neelsahai@hotmail.com) before 5pm on Friday 28th April.

We will announce the nominees on Monday 1st May, ahead of the AGM.

Every JSC Member can vote at the AGM. Those Members unable to attend the AGM but would like to vote can do so by emailing their votes to Neel Sahai (neelsahai@hotmail.com) before 5pm on 4th May.

This is an exciting time for the JSC and for surfing in Jersey and we look forward to continuing to build the Club in line with the ethos set out by the original founders of the JSC"

High pressure may bring a spell of drier weather next week. A few computer model runs then go on to develop a cold spell during the last third of April as high pressure becomes centred farther north and west, allowing a cold arctic plunge to head down towards the UK.
